Description
One of the most common methods of disinfecting pool water is the use of chlorine, which is added to the water in various ways, including linear or floating agents. However, the amount of chlorine in the water is a sensitive parameter, the deficiency or excess of which can have adverse effects on the pool water or on the swimmers’ bodies. The chlorine and pH test kit for pool water can measure the amount of these parameters and assure you of the quality of the water.Chlorine meters are available in digital and chemical types, each with different accuracy, but using these products usually gives the same results. The chemical chlorine tester works by adding a specific volume of chlorine reagent solution to the sample being tested, and based on the amount of color change and color concentration of the resulting solution, the chlorine level in the water is estimated.
- The pH of swimming pool water should be between 6.5 and 7.6. Therefore, increasing or decreasing the pH from the range of 6.5 to 7.6 can be very effective in the disinfection properties of disinfectants.
