According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the largest swimming pool in the world to date is the San Alfonso del Mar saltwater pool on the central coast of Chile, which is 1013m long and covers an area of ​​8 hectares. The construction of this pool was completed in 2006. The world’s largest indoor swimming pool is located at the NASA Research Laboratory Training Center. The deepest diving pool is located at the NEMO Research Center near Brussels, Belgium. This pool consists of two large sections with flat floors, whose depths are 5m and 10m respectively, and its deepest point reaches 33m.
